Residence Santa Lucia

Since its restoration, it has become home not only to donatelli design but also to Residence Santa Lucia, a wonderfully cosy and luxurious boutique hotel with 4 rooms, located on Corso Ovidio in the center of Sulmona, one of Abruzzo's most culturally historical and beautiful cities.

In addition, guests can enjoy breakfast in our retro style dining room or outside in the courtyard. A large seating room with fireplace is available for guests who wish to enjoy a nightcap or fine glass of wine in front of a roaring fire and a large (but intimate) event hall is also on the premises.

Whether you are looking for a relaxing stay or planning an important event, we will be able to assist you in every aspect.

Luxury vacation living in a 13th Century monastery

Our rooms:
Mansard - "The Blue & The Yellow Rooms"
These rooms are very bright due to the skylights in the roof but not to worry when it comes to overheating in the summer months since all windows have custom shades which help keep the rooms cool. The rooms are modern and fairly sized which isn’t always the case when it comes to mansard rooms. Both these rooms cost € 90,00 per night based on double occupancy and of course, also includes breakfast. A 3rd single bed is available in “The Yellow Room” and a 4th can be included if requested and “The Blue Room” is furnished with two single beds.

"La Badessa"
The “Honeymoon Suite” named “La Badessa” is very warm and inviting with deep reds and touches of green and the dark pink walls and costs € 100,00 per night based on double occupancy (breakfast included). The decor is very classic and most of the furniture is period.

"Fra' Tommaso"
The largest room of the four is called “Fra’ Tommaso” (named after the once Priory of the monastery), actually a suite suitable for a family due to its 4 beds, boasts a working fireplace and ornate wood ceiling. The style in this room is also very classical with antique furniture dating back to the 1600’s. There are many pictures on the walls and ornaments around the room which actually give the room that lived-in feeling you rarely find in hotels. And if you happen to need your privacy, the “Fra’ Tommaso” suite also includes a second room adjacent to the main room. The cost for an overnight stay in the “Fra’ Tommaso” room is € 120,00 per night based on double occupancy (breakfast included).

Guest amenities included with every room:
WIFI, Television, Scottish shower, Use of seating room and fireplace, Use of court or terrace on upper floor, Breakfast
